We have decided on an academic break for next week (25-29 May).
This is to allow learners to recharge and catch up
on work in the various learning areas and subjects.
Funza Lushaka Teaching Bursary 2020. Now Open.
Department of Education is looking for 4 761 Matriculants to be trained as Teachers.
This bursary will pay for: Registration fees, Tuition fees, meals and accommodation.
Students will also be paid allowance for their practical work.

For those learners who didn't get a chance to collect their textbooks. Snapplify has opened access to all etextbooks for free until the end of the year. Please follow the link and instructions thereafter. Your child's educator can confirm which textbook they use. Snapplify has partnered with top South African educational publishers to launch Free Access. Free Access provides over 5000 IEB, EB and CAPS-aligned ebooks for FREE to anyone who needs them for remote learning while schools are closed. Free Access books will be available to you, or your child, until the 31st December.

In an effort to bridge the gap and support remote learning, the Sasol Foundation has partnered with
the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and Africa Teen Geeks, to provide FREE online and interactive
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning (including a virtual classroom) for all
school learners. The initiative targets learners from Grades R to 12 in Mathematics; Mathematics Literacy,
Natural Sciences; Physical Sciences; Numeracy; Literacy and Reading. The digital platform has been active
since 30 March 2020 and will continue until the end of April 2020, with daily lessons streamed live on
weekdays between 08h00 and 17h00. The online platforms will remain available beyond the lockdown
period and are open to all learners through the following websites:
